My Game Is Broken

Started playing this game yesterday and was really looking forward to it as I love these type of games and the Advance Wars series particularly Dual Strike on the DS is one of my favourite games of all time. Unfortunately this game is extremely buggy and keeps freezing on me. I have uninstalled it and then re installed it but it still crashes and I have barely played any of the campaign. 1/10.

Good solid fun

Fire emblem like game. Nice cute graphics good fun for all. Think the multiplayer is class thanks for the play.

ONCE YOU START YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK TO THE VERY BEGINNING... You can replay it but only 1 story play for all modes. Fun though

Fantastic!

I can't get over how brilliant the concept for this game is. Takes a lot of liberties from AW, but seems to build and improve on them a lot. Beautiful aesthetics and awesome gameplay!

Multiplayer broken

Great game, unfortunately the multiplayer co op is compltely broken, even after numerous "fixes". Me and my friend has tried desperately to play this numerous times and it never works :(

Nice game, shame about the bugs

Great game, loads of fun. Would be nice if the multiplayer didn't keep crashing or error coding with "Invalid Unit Order" even after the update that was supposed to fix it. Its such as shame as I really want to love this game :(

Broken tutorials.

Tutorial keeps bugging out and forcing me to restart, and praying that its fixed itself after I get through the dialogue the next time. I might even enjoy the bloody game if the buggy tutorial would stop holding me hostage every time it craps out on me, making have to start the whole level again. 😒

Reallly good turn based strategy game

Really good throwback to a game genre that you don't see much any more and not overly simple so there is still a challenge for new/old veterans of the genre.

Advanced wars in a fantasy world

Pretty much an advanced wars clone in a final fantasy style world. If you loved advanced wars then this is probably the only game on pc you can get that replicates that advanced wars experience without an emulator. Has PvP as well. The only issue i have with the game? There is no option to close the game, im not talking about the battles in game, im talking from the main menu, there is no quit option. I feel sorry for the person who plays this game and doesnt know about Alt+F4

Could be a good game, if it ever actually let you play. However it always without fail freezes at the start and is thus a broken and totally unplayable game.

Scratches the Advance Wars itch in style.

It's basically Advance Wars re-imagined as a medieval fantasy game but that's 100% fine, because that's exactly what I wanted, and an itch that needed scratching for the last decade! If Intelligent Systems won't do it, then someone else had to. And it's done very well, a generous package with hours of content before you even get to all the user generated stuff, much of which is also excellent.

Best Strategy game in years!

Wargroove is a truly fantastic addition to the strategy genre. With lots of different commanders, units, grooves (abilities) and terrains, each boasting their own uses, every match is different and it always keeps you thinking and adapting as you play. The art style is beautiful with fantastic colour schemes each suiting its own environment and small animations to go with that. It boasts one of, if not the best, map and campaign creators/editors I have ever seen with triggers for things such as capture the flag. It also features a fully fledged campaign with over 20 hours at least if you are a completionist with a great plot and character development. Overall, it is an extremely well polished and addictive game with fantastic potential for future updates and tournaments since it already has both local and online multiplayer :).
