No Multiplayer and no soul

There is multiplayer... Just no one uses it after the failed initial launch which is a shame. The single player is a good remaster but short and repetative quickly. Complete all levels and challenges then repeat 20 times. The big let down is the sound track - its not the same as original games, there are only a handful of tracks and even then, only 3 or 4 are decent.

Great game still but some corners cut by developers

Still a great game at its core but so many short cuts taken like movent across the board is dialed down alot, animations swapped out for vfx assets take from unreal store and its a very bad effect like beaming up in star trek but no were near as cool, impact effect for blood is just gone and is no longer in the game but we got in the 99-2000 versions of the game, theres music and fmv sequences missing as well this might seem picky to some but if you played the original you'll know what i mean,overall it has a great core still but the devs removed the soul it needs to better if they do THPS 3-4

Decent fun, nostalgia trip

Needs direct install on Series or there's issues. Updated graphics, controls and implementing of some later tricks (like manuals and reverts) are all great. Decent soundtrack even with some original tracks not returning. Easy interface and ability to move between parks. Only real issue is, it is a grind to level up and unlock everything. If you aren't highly skilled, you can't unlock everything. Enough there that it isn't a major issue for some.

Great fun, controls and performance

One of the best performing and noticeably worthwhile 120Hz games available. Very good at 60fps, but skateboarding around Venice Beach with Dolby Vision 120Hz mode (LG has finally updated the CX) is outstanding. Playing the Series deluxe version on Series X, no issues whatever after 10 hours of play. I'm still loving the addictive, tight gameplay and it's better than ever.

After a rocky few days since the launch of the series s|x version there has now been an update which seems to have addressed the freezing issue, and the game is running flawlessly on my series x. Am glad because this game was a remarkably good update of the original 2 games with (mostly) all of the content from both and more. Fun, skill-based gameplay, easy to learn, tricky to master, loads of unlockables and secrets, smooth framerate, good lighting. It's a little subjective as to whether the series optimized version is worth ten quid to you or not. For me, it's nice to know i have the highest quality version of the game available, but your mileage may vary. I do think that charging extra for this kind of upgrade is a little sketchy, given that we all know 'smart delivery' is a thing. Alas, Activision don't appear to want to be as consumer friendly as Microsoft, which is a bit of a shame. Nevertheless, a 5 star game. :)

Does Launch on series X at all! Do not buy!

So I loved Tony Hawks when it came out the first time. The upgrade to 4k HDR was enough for me to pay almost 50 quid for an updated couple of games that are found in the 1 quid bargain bucket at game shops. What a fool I was. I get to the license agreement before a hard crash. All the while activision noms up my 50 quid like a hungry teenager at a Pizza Hut all you can eat. Don't know why I'm even surpised any more activision.

Update required to fix crashes.

The game itself is the perfect 90's throw back to the Playstation days of old. One major problem... Can't really play it without fear of crashing. Surely this basic requirement should have been tested? Or did we just ship a broken piece of software 'worth' £49.99? I'll feel short changed until the issue is resolved. Poor form Activision! I wonder what Mr Hawkes thinks about it? Hold out buying until fix is reported is my humble advice.

I was looking forward to the Series X update. Like others I can no longer play due to crashing 30 seconds, in, from start screen. Next gen game with old school issues. Review for Series X edition, from a Series X user.
