In this game you are not the hero. This is meant to be hell. Combat is intentionally hard because you are a doctor, its meant to showcase how fragile and vunerable people are. This is a game you go to war with. 10/10. Be warned, its not for the feint hearted. 100% purchasing the dlc to support devs with further releases of the franchise. My only regret is they didn't have enough time to complete the other perspectives, as such they are making them a standalone thing. If you like a challenge and decent rpgs (without a skill tree) buy this. Its worth full price, even more so on sale

Ive tried both and the difference is night\day. Great unique game, not nearly as hard as you think.

I never really do reviews, but this game needs the exposure. If you research P-2 you will find that people generally agree that this is a VERY underrated game. WOW! I cannot stress how much I agree. EVERYONE should play this game, you owe it to yourself as a gamer. I was even somewhat reluctant at first to even give this a try, but OH BOY am I glad I did and it will live to be one of my most memorable games ever. It is truly a masterpiece. You play along an intricately complex timeline of 12 days where your actions REALLY DO impact the game drastically (no really! No BS like you hear in every other game saying this). This game is savage and not for the feint hearted, it will mock you as a gamer and pull, twist and even force you to make very hard choices, and time is always against you. It's a very hard game and resembles the time scheme in Majora's Mask but on a much more complicated level, I was HOOKED. The scripting and the plot are incredible, it's a very sophisticated game.

Highly underated. Very difficult game if you play on intended settings but it fits the game and the narrative, it doesn't just seem and look like a harsh environment, it really is. You will find the struggle is real even just to survive. The story is captivating and the atmosphere is unparalleled. You really feel the hysteria and can see people are losing their minds. There really is no other game like this, it's a masterpiece. This game is reviewed by too many people who expect a classic RPG but this game is continously trying to break your will, this is not your classic RPG where you are a glorified hero who never fails, you are constantly at the brink of death trying to survive just like everyone else. If you want to breeze through it and play it like a classic game play it on easy and you might have fun and you will definitely enjoy the story. But to me the struggle and desperation is much more compelling in this world. The developers deserve alot of praise.

Oh please do ignore the lackluster comments from other people, this is a spectacular game from a thoughtful and creative company. People expect AAA graphics, a thousand weapons and a strip-club to spend in game currency, but instead we have incredible story design, imaginative levels and gameplay, and FINALLY an atmospherical creepiness and unsettling feeling, that I thought was lost in the previous generation of gaming. You'll love the game, its thoughtful mechanics, brilliant narrative & clever world; you probably wont if your concept of a good game is smearing the same COD & AC titles into a single suppository for your short-sighted uncultured *** each year. Excellent job tinyBuild, another hit. 😁 Update: Multiple paths have me questioning myself at every turn, noticing indescriminate changes as the ebb flows from surreal, emotion and then to fear. Truly enjoying it, although twistedly. Disraction is the enemy.

Whats with the huge cow?this game,by its own admission,throws you in at the deep end.feels like i ate some iffy mushrooms,few technical issues but hopefully theyll be smoothed out,its a love it or hate type of game,i think its great

Pathologic is one of those game series that seems to be overlooked here in the west, possibly because of how odd it is. From the strange architecture of The Town, to the odd way its' inhabitants talk, to even its' punishing difficulty (dying will confer permanent decreases to your characters stats) currently, there is only one playable character currently, The Haruspex, with more hopefully to come soon, in summation, if you are looking for a simple game, look elsewhere. Admittedly, 30 quid may be too much, wait until its on sale or play on game pass
