Only played a bit but it looks and plays gorgeous!it keeps the graphical style but with some great textures.

It's got relatively low mobility and noisy menus but the counter combat is pretty slick and it has some interesting ideas to stand out from the more popular franchises.

If they gave KI another new breath of fresh air with a new game and added controls from rivals like SF and MK etc they would be able to create a bigger fanbase with huge accessibility so people wouldn't have to learn new controls for another fighter!

This is awesome brings back memories of arcades probably around 20 years ago maybe more the only thing i not to keen on is people using 1/2 button mashing for combos = no skill kinda ruins it

Not a bad game at all

Well well well, look what we got here, it's Killer Instinct REBORN, yay I loved this game back in the Nintendo days :) top marks for me, because I really do think they have their heads screwed on right with this one, from sampling this free version of the game, I definitely want to purchase the definitive edition :) oh and I don't know if anyone else is getting this, but windows store swears blind this won't work on my pc, but it does (climatic music increasing)!

Microsoft studios are robbers

got the game years ago when it wasnt free i had most of the fighters (season 1) when i reinstalled the game Microsoft studios took them off me so now i cant play the game i just instaled a 48gb game to look at the menu Microsoft studios have KILLED Killer instinct do not download your just going to look at the menu 😢👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Good fighting game

Good fighting mechanics, and characters, but the downside is it gets very expensive for different characters and collecting everything, from the base game.

If you seem intimated at first it's ok because the game has a brilliant training mode that is simple to understand and get to grips with. After that getting to understand a fighter is simple but it's getting to master them is the hard part . When in fights the game becomes fast frantic and makes you feel like a god when you preform insane looking attacks. It's a fun experience but because of the need to buy fighters and other things it feels as if you really need to like the game so much that your willing to spend a lot of money on it . I suggested trying it out and if you really like then spend your hart away it not a bad thing to do I did it.

this used to be such a good game back when it was fun and competitive now its just full of stunlockers and unbalanced matchups. shame really considering the phrase "killer" ment skill and now it meens can press a,x till you fall out of corner

this game is not the best

one button fighting game. i liked the old ki but this is shoking they killed the skill gap by letting players have a setting that take's away the skill needed. not bad solo but online all players use the one button setting take that setting away from online.

Killer Instinct was never good...

Killer Instinct's legacy is based solely around nostalgia. Without that you get a series of lackluster games with unoriginal characters and levels hiding behind a broken combo system. The best thing related to KI was the Killer Cuts CD back in 1995.
