Top notch violence the super-hero game everyone dreams of

The game is amazing in my opinion story line is amazing and the game play is super fun yet hard the only problem is graphics i over looked the graphics through the entire play through and if you can do that then the games perfect

Its good to be a dingus

For a game made over a decade ago, it's safe to say that this, along with its sequel, rivals most modern AAA games. I've never had this much fun playing a game. The gameplay is simple, but once you get into it, you'll find that you've spent half an hour or more in the same street, mercilessly slaying everyone that pops up on your screen. What it lack in graphics is more than made up for in the fun factor. Wether it's mowing down civilians in an APC, slashing through bullet proof vests, or jumping from car to car like a madman, you'll most likely enjoy this game. There is only one problem that I can think of, and that's the grinding factor. Sure, you can stroll through the story and rack up plenty of xp, but if you want to get the most out of the progression in this game, then you'll have to go through event after event of the same activities. I generally dislike event that are almost required to speed up progression, but other than that, I do recommend purchasing this game.

A classic game ive played for more then a decade and still love it!

Prototype 1 is one of the best games ever made i used to play it over and over back when I was a kid on the ps3 and the 360 and now playing it on the series x is amazing i wish there was a remake for next gen

Love this series

Once again I've found myself re-enacting John Carpenter's The Thing as i clear military bases incognito, mercilessly hunting web of intrigue targets to jog Alex Mercer's memory of how he and New York got so messed up, slicing through hoards of infected with a genetic swiss army knife of abilities like a psychotic blender, running up the side of skyscrapers cracking concrete as i go only to dive off and walk away unscathed, drop kicking helicopters just for sh!ts and giggles, and once again i'm loving every minute of it! Still just as fun as it was back on the 360, even though the slightly drab lighting could have been improved for this gen of console. Excellent game, regardless. The story has some great twists and turns and the gameplay really makes you feel like a one man force of nature once you get the hang of it. Always perfered this to the second game, it's better in every way but graphics. Needs a three-quel badly! Read my review of [P2] for more, if you're interested.

People should pay more attention to the prototype franchise

I love everything in this game the story is ok but the powers and destruction make up for it I would definitely buy it
