Supposedly hated by fanboys of the original pure stealth ACs, but this is Ubisoft's masterpiece. Huge. Possibly the best map & setting in gaming. Full of unique buildings & statues on varying islands, linked by ship or fast travel. Fascinating Greek history, mythology, & incredibly detailed - the overlooked Discovery Tour alone is amazing (has quizzes 👨‍🏫👨‍🎓). Fun combat & slick parkour - both vast improvements from early AC. Great characters, story, & architecture (yes, AC2 was good there too). Just missing AC4BF's whaling, which was really all it was good for. Does start slow - I did a month 1½yrs ago, played other games, then returned, was addicted, & finished a month later. 💯%🏆248h L76 - it's probably 50h if focused. Unmissable achis, but the DLC ones are included in the score, so I didn't actually 💯% it 😡! Skip straight to this or play Origins first. A true 5⭐! Almost as good as GTAV (not gameplay). NB: Kassandra is 'canon'; Upgrade on L11,21,31, etc; Kill Monger in cave.

Try not to think of it as an Assassin's Creed, but as a standalone in the AC universe with a few AC tropes sprinkled, and you'll have hours of fun. ✨✨✨✨✨

Gameplay is amazing. Ancient Greece setting gives the game a sense of adventure. The story is great, this is one game i didnt mind buying the dlc for.

This game is easily comparable to black flag. They are very different but this game had so much content and hours of fun. I think ive sunk like 800 hours into this game alone.

The graphics, the RPG system, the map, the exploration, the battles et cetera. The story was the best part for me even though many people found it average. If you know history you will love this. I got so excited every time i met a historical character. 400BC/10 !!!!!!!

Arguably the best game I've ever played. Visually stunning unlimited open world with vast islands to explore. The story is just brilliant with varied outcomes and endings based on the decisions you make. Ability points, weapons, legendary items and armour sets are limitless so you can create/customise your own characters unique look & playing style. Plenty of mythical creatures, beasts, cutlists and enemies, bosses and toombs to enjoy. Played and completed all add ons a few times now. Would strongly recommend playing as Kassandra to get a much better experience. Only game I've ever given 10\10.

Great game if you play it properly unlike a lot of these ratings. Soooo much to explore and do on this HUGE map. Get yourself a decent TV to play as the colours are deep and vibrant! I myself loved sailing the seas looking for new islands and challenges. BRILLIANT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It may not be your typical AC game but this is the first I played and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as I played the Prince of Persia games and was interested but cautious so left it alone but Odyssey is the closest to Warrior Within. Sure it has stealth but I personally prefered starting a brawl especially as I got stronger and more capable as its very unlike a Spartan to sneak up on foes, like me I'd rather the enemy know I'm there. But 30% of the time stealth was fun and mixing it up with speed and patience was great. Doing so gets me noticed and often targetted by stronger foes and the challenge is exciting. Because of all this I have purchased every game in this franchise and It'll take me a year to get through them all, very excited. 2022 looking gooooood.

160+ Hours into the game and I still havent seen the whole map, im in love with this game, I have completed the main storyline and hunted out most of the cult members, and I wont be putting the game down until I have squeezed every but of life I can out of it, I am not the type of person to play a game after completion or even bother with the likes of DLCs but this game is so beautiful and most of all FUN I just cant put it down, the sailing is not as good as Black flag, however its upgrading system requires you to really take the time out and earn it to upgrade, I preferred black flags sailing, but in some ways it's much better, and I like how I can slightly customise my ship, I'm restarting the game on the hardest difficulty when I've finished the dlcs so wish me luck. I've never played a game as good as this, the first hour was a but meh but after that... wow. definitely had my moneys worth and would of paid double if I knew
