Great little game, completed first map in around 40hrs. If you love micro-management and history of evolution you won't be disappointed. Don't over-work your peeps and you'll be fine.

This is a very fun game with good control and variety of building to an easy to understand ui and interface, the gameplay is fun and looks great and i hope the developers make more like this.

Just wish you could personalise the in game notifications,i really don't need to know about every little food item that goes to waste (becomes a neverending cycle in the late game).

Love all different simulation games and this is up there with the best. It's set in an era that most developers wouldn't dream of and that certainly makes it different. Gameplay is smooth and help is available in the game. Lots of options to manage the variables within the game and this makes it such a playable and addictive game in my opinion and well worth a purchase.

Superb. Progressive city builder/survival game with you starting out with your small group of paleolithic hunter gatherers evolving through to a self sustaining iron age town depending on how you wish to play. You can domesticate animals, grow crops and generally enjoy watching the many intertwined roles that your people carry out. I am very impressed with this game and would be keen to see some DLC to further expand the experience.

Good game,it draws you in and easy toplay

I loved Planetbase. DoM has a very simalar play style, but pushes everything to the next level, in a huge open enviroment. Dawn of man offers a more relaxed experience over Planetbase, slowly building you towards a well balanced challenge. It does have an AOE feel about it, but it's a defense game when it comes to combat. Took me a few attempts to see where I was going wrong, as my colonial incompetency shone through lol. But after 60hrs of gameplay I'm still enjoying it as much as I was on launch day. Not many games I can say that about these days.

Quite simply brilliant. I've been playing since launch. I wasn't going to write a review, but after reading some of the other nonsense reviews, I felt I must. Simple game. Keep your workload reasonable, and your colonists happy. Simple as that. Balance is the key, the game becomes more of a challenge as you advance through the ages, and the balance I mentioned becomes harder to find. I expected that, but suprisingly other reviewers are blaming the game for their failings. 🤷‍♂️ I love the camera in this game, allowing you to get right down into your village. Brilliant! Nice visuals for this genre, fitting musical score too. At this price you can't go wrong. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The game is a survival you start with 6 people 4 adults and 2 children. You need to hunt, gather sticks, stone and flint as for food you Fish and pick wild berries. The hunting give you meat, bone and hide for leaver to craft clothes, sticks and bone for weapons and for homes you start out using sticks and dried hide.
