Considering that Ubisoft killed this franchise with this title I have mixed feelings about it now. I hated it at launch. Too many loading screens, cluttered UI and painful level grinding to progress. Loot boxes and premium currency not to mention shafting pre order customers by reducing the Gold Edition to half price a week after release because sales weren't as expected. Thankfully RedLynx delivered and once you get past all the negatives that Ubi threw up on you the game really shines. Bike and Rider customisation has never been better. Having leaderboards and ghosts for each bike on every track adds huge replayability. Game works best with friends pushing each other up the leaderboards but the solo grind is real. Thank you Redlynx. This is truly the pinnacle of the series.

A step back... The worst game in the series

Loot boxes are awful. Why waste time animating? Hard and cumbersome to compare times. Endo feature is a nightmare. They took out all the best features that made the series so compelling. I just want to compare and beat my friends, but the game makes it a chore. Awful UI. Forced into a ubisoft account... Trials has taken 10 steps back. We just want to race Tracks and compare with friends!

Carnival Mess tbh

Previous Trials games were simple to navigate menus and find levels etc . I know theres a filter for map but is just a mess , bikes dont seem realistic compare to TF . When im playing feels like im jonny blaze from ghost rider. every level seems like a carnival. Not good in my opinion. If you aain't played trials before i'd recommend buying trials fusion

DLC not worth paying for

Love the games & series but adds new tracks you have to purchase via acorns, even when you have season pass which has 2 DLC not worth it. Ubisoft jokes again having to BUY acorns for new vehicles

Well this is a let down, this used to be a community game but now the only community is the 3 other ghosts! Is this just a cash grab? or your just a really poor layout of the games options? Trials had me gripped from HD, Evolution to fusion, now with this mess I cant be actually bothered to finish the game! I used to team up, chat, get advice from other riders, I don't feel any need to even approach this option anymore, so disappointed from a fan from the beginning, Redlynx this was a huge step in the wrong direction, you should have put us riders 1st & not Ubisoft. Oh & later addition & turning it to one star now...thanks for dropping the price through games through gold less than a month of release...real kick in the marbles guys! Further addition...you honestly think we don't see through the Redlynx & Ubisoft staff comments voting 5*? We see you. "Ignore the haters!"...those haters were your loyal, long standing fans.

Nice return to form hidden behind the most tedius grind ever .cant even be bothered playing it its so annoying. Retarded way to bring in new players...drivelines are beyond bad with physics explosions and every ramp set to ping u in the air...game needed checking by serious vets not the yes crew.. Ui and track central was designed by ray Charles

Well designed game but not a favourite

I cant get gold on my trials finale because 1st, 2nd,3rd and 4th are diamond times i dont have any diamond times got the rank on skill games so how am i even supposed to set a time when im always eliminated? Plus when i check leaderboard the guy im against has faults but gets diamond wtf so its basically impossible to finish everything ... P.s. the physics could be improved especially when another object is involved

The game's servers are completely broken, if you disconnect mid-race then it corrupts that race so you can NEVER play it again. This makes the game impossible to progress in. Huge waste of money, DO NOT BUY IT, and thats from a huge Trials fan.

Good but buggy

HD and Evolution played fine, fusion was ok, but why is the frame rates so bad in this one? Some levels the textures and environments dont appear until a few seconds in, the map to choose a track is terrible, the music is horrific and lootboxes and emotes? WTF are they doing in a trials game? The player progression system is much better but gameplay wise it feels like they've gone backwards... I dont like this game as much as i wanted to..

Cant believe im giving a Trials game 1 star but the menus are awful so confusing no idea what iv done and havent stupid dancing avatars dont mind the ghosts but cant turn them off get major screen taring frame drops and glitches realy slow to load in to game then textures take a few more seconds. Major thing is the menus need sorting just give me a simple list

Do not buy if you expect it to be like the other trials...... This one is a mess. Why i can't just Gold or Platinum a track and move to the next without having to grind more XP through tedious 'flip' challenges is beyond me. Lost my faith in RedLynx.

Too many traps on tracks like calapsing bridges and sonic waves etc and dont get me started on stadiums. Custom side is good except the game bugs out and defaults everything. Other than that its ok just not as enjoyable given the progresion system and i platinum 95% of fusion so i like grind but stadiums are tedius and boring.

Terrible game don't buy

Been a huge fan of trials since the beginning but this is beyond awful. Frame rate drops, loot boxes that serve absolutely no purpose, the most boring and repetetive tracks ever. Riders look like they've been plucked out of a PS2 game. Arenas are the worst thing i've ever experienced on any trials game. The level up/ progression system is terrible. Loading screens are buggy, ghosts are terrible and the emotes make me loathe everything this game has become. Massively looked foward to this game and was severely let down by lazy developers. Don't buy this game

Just awful, there is so much wrong with Rising. It's like they released an early build of the game instead of the finished game. If you must buy this game, get it on disc. At least you can trade it in for something else later

Painful experience - Avoid

Avoid! Terrible load times, F2P feel, lootbox grindfest, forced multiplayer, slow progression, tedious UI/map. Big fan of old trials? Stick to them, I wish I had.

This game has constant load screens, bugs/glitches and loot boxes. Not to forget cheaters plagueing the leader boards. Awful game, done by greedy half ***** devolopers, incapable of fixing a Trials game. I would also say, that the controls are god awful, with crap response times.

• The worst progression system ever, the old way was tried, tested & liked • More time spent in the menus skipping through nonsense • Less time actually spent racing • Loot boxes • Longer loading times • Frame drops / rendering issues • Annoying random ghosts • Annoying podium of strangers emotes • Annoying inventory duplication bug • No way of skipping horrible rock music tracks so have music off altogether • Focuses on attracting new casual players rather than the loyal fans • Took over 12 hours just to unlock hard tracks • Overly repetitive / grindy and ultimately boring • Would be better if the community made the game with just tracks • Trials evolution was the best even the intro music was spot on

For die hard fans only

Better than Trials Fusion but not as good as Trials Evolutions, Menu screen is confusing and cluttered with everything but carer races, Always ask you to install ubisoft club, Has no multiplayer yet and the bain of modern gaming..... Creates and micro transactions a plenty. Could have been better, ruined by loot boxes and micro transactions.

NO ONE asked for loot boxes NO ONE asked for vast customization options NO ONE asked for OTT graphics that effecr frame rate and loading times NO ONE asked for trashy rock music NO ONE asked for micro transactions SO WHY REDLYNX have you stabbed long time fans in the back and caved into Ubisofts demands?? Another great game killed by overly zealous publishers

New maps decent Same personality Ghosts of random players in every trial distracting and makes it too competitve Medal system that was flawless & fun replaced with grindy contracts Its still trials but feels like its missing something 4/5

Not Good For Local Multiplayer

Firstly i only play this game on local multiplayer so my review is on that only. Its not good as i only have 9 tracks to choose from the start and when playing with friends we only play easy or medium tracks so now only 7 to choose from even though i bought the gold edition that said 55 extra track it did not specify they would only be for single player. The choice of bikes is less than the last game as well with the panda and unicorn gone so the fun choices of rides no existent. The amount i have payed for 7 tracks to play with my friends with less choice of bikes is a disgrace. We will go back to the old game and delete this.
