Well Written Characters and Story Wonderful Scenery simple Gameplay Perfect Difficulty not too easy but pretty hard

Dark Souls anime Fantastic!!!!!!, i regret not buying it sooner.

This is a decent game.comin from dark souls i loved this,bonfires,souls,although combat is clunky like ds2 at times,my only anoyance is characters are soppy

Code Vein is a fun souls-like game. I'm not usually a fan of this genre but thought I'd give it a go whilst it was on sale. Ignore the people saying it's too hard, it's not. I'm not a souls-like veteran and I defeated the first butterfly boss on my second attempt, I wasn't particularly over powered and none of the bosses thereafter caused me too much hassleafterwards. Nothing a little leveling up couldn't solve. You just need to take advantage of your skills and study the enemy movements. I'm currently mopping up 1000g. All are fairly achieveable, all except Exalted Reputation. This achievement requires you to get your companion rank to level 30. This was relatively easy to do when people were playing online but the servers are desolute! Instead you'll need to grind the Tower of Trials to farm 400 Marks of Honor. There are certain enemies that drop the Marks of Honor when defeated but they are at random. That particular achievement aside, Code Vein is an enjoyable and forgiving game.

I suck at Dark souls and honestly thought id suck at this nearly quit at the butterfly boss but i learned to git gud. Grinded up whooped her and tbh only had issue with one boss since killing all others first try or near enough. Not finnished the game yet but nearly i recommend this as a good beginners entry to a souls game.

if u love jrpgs youll love this even though it takes alot of elements from dark souls most of the time the game is way easier apart from that the characters are great as you would expect from a jrpg and the story and gameplay is fun and you will be instantly hooked gotta recommend this if you like dark souls and or willing to try new games or if your a fan of jrpgs

Love the game, the fact that you can spend so much time exploring without losing interest amazed me. (Please add a long pole Scythe weapon, it would be amazing (I love scythes))

Seriously fun. As with most Souls-likes it's difficult by default and isn't afraid to kick you around but Code Vein, while difficult, is also pretty fair. The game also rewards exploration and I often find myself spending hours in one locale searching for every hidden item. The only teeny tiny thing that bugs me is the hit registration where enemy attacks will sometimes still hit you despite dodging. Also, while not bad, Code Vein seems to have a thing for ambushes and has left me especially paranoid whenever I walk into a room and there's a just single item lovingly placed in the center by the Code Vein developers. So overall; fun times.

Is good if you can understand it just have not seen any one on line yet amazing story

This game is a masterpiece that everyone needs to experience great characters back stories awesome boss fights menu's are done right fluid combat many abilities to master in different tree's a decent challenge and beautiful crafted world particle effects are top notch plenty of blood and lets not forget the best character creation i have seen in years this is my GOTY and has truly won my heart. Btw theres some nice a** waifu's😁😏👏✌

As the title says, an enthralling little gem of a game! While it isn't Bloodborne 2, it does follow the established From formula incredibly well, yet peppers in enough of it's own style and flair to be thoroughly enjoyable as it's own game. The combat is nicely polished and very addictive - you can go from unleashing a storm of destruction using Gifts, to desperately trying to land a backstab or parry to gain more ichor in seconds. The special Drain (backstab/parry) animations are excellent, and the combat feels very fluid. Weapons later in start to diversify movesets too. Character building is done in 3 ways; Blood Codes, Blood Veils, and Gifts. The first two determine your stats and scaling, and finding new combos for different playstyles is a joy, as well as a fashion Souls challenge. The world is mysterious, weird and bleak. Bosses have good designs. For an added challenge, you can adventure solo too. Real Souls feeling when doing that, but it's great fun either way!

Beautiful game. Bathe in blood and Vampire Waifus. Many similarities to Dark Souls but without being deliberately and obtusely difficult. It features bonfires, you have to collect your 'souls' from where you died but this is it's own game with it's own style. Combat is deliberate. You don't need 'twitch responsiveness' but you do need to consider your moveset for maximum effect. Attention to detail is excellent. The 'homebase' is detailed and gorgeous and you'll find plenty spots to just sit or lie your character down to admire your character creation handiwork. Nice touch. There's even a Hot Spring. You may freely switch Combat Styles at any time by swapping Blood Gifts. Seems to be quite a lot of story and lore to discover. Great game.
