Feel the pace was painfully slow

I started to get bored, opening things with nothing to look at in them, bleak and bare to the point I wasn't expecting the last 60 seconds.. I feel this could have been made a quicker shorter compact story perhaps 1 of a few short stories.. it isn't a game and therefore the one or 2 lines every 10 or so minutes makes your brain hurt.. now looking at it after the ending I can appreciate it but it was too dragged out and sparse for the impact I think they were hoping for..which it coulda had.

Thought Provoking

Completed in a 5 hour session but will re-visit to complete more fully and discover 'the truth'. Really tragic story and makes me think how this is just one of millions of similar stories where vulnerable people are have been abused and their voices silenced. As much as every man seems to bear the misdemeanors of absuive males, there is still a problem across the world where women are subjected to violence, sexual abuse, coercive control and are legally imprisoned in some countries in domestic servitude. It's a conversation everybody needs to have and there needs to be a reckoning, not some tokenistic policy about pay inequality.

A painful experience having to watch her suffer

Goes to show that when people say "get help" or "we can help" they're talking out their ****. A well told story of a mentally ill woman, a look into what it's like with severe levels of mental unwellness, doctors of today give you pills and send you on your way. Pills that lobotomise you and help nothing, never fixing the problem. Just turning you into a shell, instead of healing. So sh*t hasn't changed all that much

Its no call of duty

I like games that are different and new. The graphics are terrible very bland looking game in a very stiff dated world like a game that released 15 years ago. Feel no emotion playing the slow walking sim feel nothing other then announce. Some may love this i do not.

Beautiful Game

Probably my favourite of the walking simulator genre, immersive and emotive and beautifully designed and executed.It's slow to start but stick with it. You won't regret it come the end.

Rly bad game. It is basically walking very slowly to and from boring locations in a small and lifeless asylum, split up by 6 very slow and badly animated cut scenes. There is no game as such. No puzzles or chases. Nothing to interact with. No items. Nothing. This should've just been a video uploaded to youtube but someone decided to add a couple of corridors to walk down, then to sell it as a game! The reviews convinced me to give this a try, but even at 90% off, I feel robbed. Take my advice friend: Don't bother.

SHORT BUT SWEET

We should be so grateful the practices depicted in this thought provoking story don't exist in 2023. Pace and gameplay is steady and am glad my eyes and mind had been opened to the the storytelling.

This won't leave you feeling indifferent. It's a beautiful game, based on a true & very sad story 🥺❤️ Definitely worth the money!

And so glad I did!! Thought it was "Just another walking sim", though how wrong could I be!! This game is emotionallly charged, creepy, squeamish and straight up heart-breaking, I honestly couldnt put it down. Plus no amount of "Resident evil" or "Evil within" games could prepare me for the scene which comes later on.. I had to turn away! The devs and cast should be immensly proud of this game. Its melancholiac and utterly poignant. Great title!!!

Unfortunately trying to read the text gives me a headache due to weirdly small font size, so until/unless that is fixed I can't play the game and would not recommend. Also would like more options to adjust things that can cause motion sickness.

I was gonna give this game a 3 star thinking chapter 8 was gonna be the ending which would of been disapointing, but then chapter 9-15 happened and i genuinely cannot think of any other game which has had such a memorable conclusion. This game isnt fun at all. Period. But i feel like that was intentional , y would a mental asylum be fun? Its also, admittedly, not scary at all, which i feel it tries to be. The graphics are identical to slender the arival but still very pretty in some places and intentionally ugly in others. This game is all story, nothing else. I woud give 4 1/2 stars but i cant and this game is definitely not 5 star as i got lost and confused many times. The town of light is one of the saddest and most haunting games ive ever played, and ive played many. Maybe try wait for a sale but dont feel guilty for paying full price. Replay value is there as the game has a few endings. try to remember important info or the game makes no sence. Be patient with the game. (4 1/2)5..

dont buy this game, the charachter moves around so slowly and the storyline is bland. good graphics though.

Mundane plot Awful voice acting Little to no interaction with environment Poor controls Poor framerate and graphics overall Appropriate sound effects are missing, and the ones that are there are generic. This game shouldn't have even made it past Steam green light, let alone be ported to console.
