Originally played this game back in 2006/2007 and the multiplayer was great. Its a shame it died online. Pick it up anyway because the campaign is good.

Great game for less than a can of coke(other soft drinks are available) this period was when gaming was great, good games that did not fill up your hard drive and it didn't take that long to make,now its all about who can make the most life like looking game plz just get back to making enjoyable games

Shooter with some great snowy large scale maps. Has an arcade element to it, racing to data posts and the best weapons so levelling up does not give an unfair online advantage.

This game has everything and more a pro player looks for in a multiplayer game. It is based on player skills and not pay to win. Skins are earned through progression and theres a lot more maps than 1. Lost Planet 2 is also brilliant and more suited for the younger gamer generation, as it added more features they would be used of. So If you want guns, grappling, rolling, grenades and to pilot mechs this is the game for you.

I had Lost Planet at release & enjoyed it a lot. Id say its one of the most under rated mech games out there. During the early 360 lifecycle we had some great original IPs from Capcom as well as some not so great as well Dark Void springs to mind. But this first Lost Planet did some great things. The spectacle of the giant worm during level 3 brings the spice worms of arrakis from Dune to mind. Theres the constant thermal energy countdown that encourages thoughtful play like the timer in the original Dead rising on 360. Back in 2007 I was still using the big old style TVs so playing this on my 4k Hdtv really does the game justice at a respectable frame rate. With Capcom putting out 9/10 titles again with Resident evil 2 remake & Devil may cry 5. Theres never been a better reason to play some of last gens classics if you missed them or in my case eager to replay a great title. Once again Backwards compatibility prooves that true game enthusiasts like myself will eagerly jump back in.
