Worth a buy, someone said "on par" with streets of rage and final fight.......errrr no but worth a get if you are craving a decent 2d side scrolling beat em up. Its a top level sor clone, polished with great soundtrack. Foreground masks pick ups which can be annoying but everything else great job. down to 4 stars as occasionally get booted back to start screen before starting 6th level. Re added star due to soundtrack being better than sor4....

Better than Streets Rage 4 I think. It's more layered and flows better but still with a feeling of impact. Very gratifying to play even after several playthrough. The devs really understand their design mechanics. The sequel looks to expand on combat in ways that will broaden the way you can approach encounters but this right now is remarkably good and very much worthy of your money. And yes better than streets of Rage 4 in terms of how fights are more dynamic. Sor4 is certainly excellent though a little held back due to it's fixed tight approach which although is the whole point of the design and without fault in that sense, is less appealing for those wanting more of a sandbox approach to combat

I went with Star... Until the Street Wizard unlocked!... Eveything, from her stance to her combat is PERFECT!!... The game has it all. In both graphics and sound. I only play on Cadet 👀, but there's so much nuance fighting the terrific enemies, esp with the Wizard girl, i can only come to one conclusion... Beat Em Up Heaven (yup i said it). This game is worth every penny 👍... Just be sure to give it time to let your skills build up. And understand the icons above your enemies heads. Know when to block and when to unleash your fury. I'm sure it will win you over 😉

Varied enemies , soundtrack was good 2d sidescoller ,artstyle was comicbook which is awsome , i will keep my eye on your next project,good job

This game is great. Colourful art, great voice acting all presented in a visual graphic novel/comic book style that has made this one of the best side scrolling beat em ups in years. This genre has always been my favourite and i know we were lucky to have Streets of Rage 4 in recent times but for me this is alot better. My hat goes off to the developers for harnessing my love for comic books and side scrolling beat em ups and putting them into one fantastic game.

Incredible game! Kudos to the devs! One thing, that was present in the demo too: if you go to the dashboard while the game is active, when you return, the game freezes on the loading screen, leaving you with no other option except closing it and start it again. Please, devs, if you are reading this, get it fixed!
