Fantastic BUT?

Streetfighter 6 is an absolute blast BUT why does it look so blurry on series s i no the series s has it's limit's but mortal kombat 1 and forza 5 look great on the series s so couldn't they have done better i dont no.But that doesn't affect the gameplay which is fantastic minor gripe.

If you want the coins to buy 1 alternate costume for 18 characters it costs £80 !!!!! That is ridiculous. Asian developers are always greedy when it comes to game expansions. Bought ultimate edition but will never give capcom another penny.

Let me get this out the way, this game is greedy AF complete cash grab and to get the simple old classic costumes you have to spend real money even after spending 60 for the game....and the world tour is awful an absolute tedious bore....but the normal gameplay and online saves it that part of the game is magnificent and thats all i care about personally ......but seriously the greed is out of control

"modern'' gaming

Terrible. Great looking game spoiled by mandatory capcom account for multiplayer, single player is a separate download that constantly needs online verification. The double updates where you need to watch a download bar in game after you updated it before starting was awful in sfv, its still awful here. For me this game burns a lot of the recent goodwill I had for them.

Pretty until HDR was removed

Genuinely been enjoying the, mechanics are sound and new features are. The reason for the low score the lack of a proper online vs mode (having to exit to change character is absurd outside ranked). Secondly HDR support seems to have been removed in the last patch. This could be a bug that'll patched out in future but as of today (30th Sept) the feature is missing.

Ok game spoiled by the World Tour Mode

Wished they would've cut the WT mode out of the game and put more into 1v1 modes or added tag. The WT mode is a basic Yakuza rip which is fun at first by shows its faults and gets boring quick, as it becomes about grinding and what number level you are. The SF fighting is ok but not much SP wise after you finish arcade and MP no real incentive to play as finding a game is hit and miss and no one seems to play the tourdaments Would have preferred more on the fighting side to unlock stuff instead of World Tour as SP fighting wise no reason to play and MP only seems to work in small doses

Ruined by difficulty spikes.

Starts off fun, but suddenly I'm getting beaten senseless by fighters 12 levels below me. Really poor balancing by Capcom.

Excellent new addition to the SF franchise

This game takes elements of previous Street Fighter games and refines them, red focus is now drive impact, parry is back, and so are variations of superarts (which were sadly missing from SF 5). New character roster, so some of the old favourites are missing (until DLC) but lineup is good as a starting base. Game is divided into 3 sections: Fighting Ground - By far the best mode in the game, trials, vs, ranked, casual, combo practise, fighting on an X Box Series X is buttery smooth and very satisfying. Battle Hub - Social space where you can challenge other fighters to an avatar battle (From the world tour mode), can also play older Capcom games such as Final Fight and SF 2, gear purchase for your avatar is there too. World Tour - Kind of a Yakusa lite mode, run around Metro City, fight and talk with characters, get gear etc. Worst mode of the three in my opinion, and not very optimised, battle sections are very poorly performing on an X Box series X 8/10 Great start awaiting DLC

Games great but the fact its 2023 and characters are still locked behind a pay wall rather than just doing awesome skins is a joke, specially when said characters were in previous games

Best SF since SF3 and the best 3D effort yet. Amazing graphics, bombastic audio, super slick animation, unobtrusive hud and a legendary fighting system tweaked too near perfection! The king is back baby!

Been playing since the 90s

Been playing the street fighter games since the 90s in the arcades. This street fighter game is perfect 10 out of 10 for me. I am just gutted i never got to play street fighter 5. Thats the only game i need to play but it is ps4 only. Maybe one day we will get it on xbox. I will definitely be playing this for years to come. Just like the other street fighter games.

Capcom is unstoppable right now and with dragons dogma 2, monster hunter 6 and resident evil 9 on the horizon i don't see them stopping any time soon. Only complaint is that i have to wait a year for akuma but thats all :)
