Make another one! With 200+ little creatures

I have completed this game on xbox, PlayStation and switch, one of my favourites games, its been updated alot too, story is pretty good and the gameplay is fun, love that it has a metroid style map too

Just great to sit back an chill, finished a few times now, love the random mob mode, went the whole game without seeing a blob, and he ended up being the Pit Lord xD, new game+ turning items to money made me a millionaire at lvl 1 with all weapons, etc, so had to do highest difficulty to keep it fresh xD all in all loved it, add more content xD lift the barrier, go to new islands i dno, need to meet the other spectral gods especially the dragon, he best be the next big bad xD

It doesn't look like much at first but the monsters all have unique skill trees so making your team gets very fun and tactical.

From the deepest arteries of my heart, this game is it. Peak. Nothing will ever dethrone it. Neurons rush around my brain on an hourly basis as I deeply question myself as to how? How is this game... so mid? The glazing by Pokémon nerds is absolutely abominable, despicable, entre minuto meat riding. Get back to work blud

This game is a work of art, a true masterpiece, a work of the gods. I truely believe they should stop development on GTA6 and instead work on a new installment of this classic. If it were possible id rate it more than 5 stars as it is the best torture device i have found, waterboarding, castration, and watching in the night garden have nothing on playing this game. Monster Sanctuary was a game that surprised me. Downloaded in a moment of bordom, this monster collector gave me hours of brilliantly challenging gameplay. I will admit I thought it was just a pokemon-clone but it is so much more. The world is a wonderful metroidvania-like exploration experience, brimming with all sorts of odd little monsters. It offers a much greater challange than Pokemon, but with some strategy and experimentation all hurdles can be leapt over! If you want a lot of depth in the games you play and something to sink your teeth into, absolutely take a bite! There is so much variation and replayability! Please, please do yourself this favour and give this game a proper chance.

The game is just 2d better pokemon that is very hard so goodluck. Also a great team is two mushroom me 1st form and a troll, just use poison cloud and then poison eater and it's just really powerful

-- No Spoilers -- No hand-holding, optional tutorial that you can only read about at the sanctuary. The difficultly is perfect for experienced "gamers". The only problem I have is, I wish that there were more significant keeper duels; led to some almost still-points which felt like walls. Not that big a deal, and it was rewarding to beat, but i feel like it could do with more. I've had a lot of fun with this game - the battle system, the art style, the amazing monsters, it all made for a great game. Would recommend you play if you find the new Pokémon games easy and boring. The story too, it was pretty good: No cutscenes, great twists, and a bit of freedom in the order you do things. Just a lot of exploring. 10/10 Game.

Thought i lost the game forever about 6 months ago and now must complete the game before its gone again.

Over 10 hours still fun as long as u take breaks

I was scrolling through Xbox Game Pass until I saw this and thought why not give it a go. The game litterally copies the exact same formula as Pokémon. Chose a Starter, battle creatures, unlock armour and berries to feed to buff and make them stronger etc. This doesn't make it a bad game or whatever.Far from it. It does a lot more to make it stand out. For instance you can use different Monsters to open new secret's, instead of using pokeballs you use eggs to hatch different monsters and you can even fight boss monsters to gain even more powerful loot. Overall would highly recommend it. Especially if you don't have a Nintendo console to play Pokémon.

I haven't played too many games of this genre, so I can't call it iconic, but it will shape how i rate games like this one in the future. Highly recommended.

Pokemon meets final fantasy with apinch of castlevania. My first 1000g in a long time

Generally not a fan of 2D games but the combat has great depth and the metroidvania style exploration abilities work excellently.

Fun collecting rearing and fighting your monsters, plenty of variation to keep you experimenting with different teams, only complaint is i would of liked to been able to speed up the enemies turn, but that doesnt detract from a great game

I love this game as it brings me back to my child hood as this game has captured the greatness of 16 bit and make it fun and enjoyable to play and also its a great strategy game as you need to build a team to counter the elements
