Hits harder then Natsuki

The happy factory spirit world made me so mad that i threw my controller at my nans crack stash, i had to put her down but now shes frothing on the floor. Next day my parents broke up because she woke up and backflipped out of the balcony with the dog. I am now schisofrenic. 10/10

Very cool gameplay. Your "weapon" is singing and you also use it to solve puzzles. The characters are funny and the graphics are cute. Glad they put this on Game Pass.

Fatal Error

In Act 5, fighting a large monster in the forest, after 3 or 4 hits, a fatal error window pops up and causes the game to crash. Tried removing, restarting and reinstalling etc but to no avail. Great and simple fun until that point. Would have given it 5 stars.

Quirky but wholesome

A cute little indie game about a singing bard trying to save the world. Very unique and nicely chilled to play. If you like indie games that try to do different things, or even just want a break from the usual AAA games, I fully recommend Wandersong.

Fantastic

A lovely game. Enjoyed the fact that, unlike normal 2D platformers, it wasn't just 'go right and win'. I can tell that lots of care went into it. I highly recommend that you play this amazing game.

Console breaker

Playing this i encountered a bug that stopped my progression,so i quit and reloaded only to be told by the game i was offline (which i definitely was not),this also bugged out my xbox making other games and apps bug out and crash. I hard reset the xbox and got functionality back,but it took a few minutes after that before wandersong the virus recognized i was online. 3 stars for the game +1 for easy achievements -3 for acting like a virus,final score 1 star.

Just Shy of Being a Masterpiece

To be straight, this game is brilliant, the world is full of characters and everyone all feels so real. Our protagonists recieve development throughout the story and it makes you ultimately feel close to them. Bard ( or Sing as I called him) is a wonderful character that is kind and genuine. He is juxtaposed by the grumpy Miriam and close-minded hero. Miriam makes as a great co-protagonist and also received her own development. The only problem I have with the game is the way things are often drawn out and too easy (I'll ignore the easy part as this is meant to be a chill game) but it often spoils the fun at parts. Another thing is the lack of reason to explore. There are no collectables and there is a short list of achievements so you aren't given much reason to explore and so, the game starts feeling linear and rather empty... If they had something like secrets or collectables or side-quests and they made parts less lengthy I would give 5 stars. None the less I highly recommend this.

It's obvious, if you give this game a reasonable chance, that a lot of thought, effort and love went into this game. Initially, i thought it was going to be a Hue clone, but there's much more depth and variety in Wandersong. It's not often that we get genuinely nice games and that's refreshing. I have 2 gripes: the bug during the final string of puzzles that prevents you from seeing the end, which is a real shame, and the dialogue. I found it quite dull, unnecessarily long and lacking in wit. I smiled once or twice but never laughed. Maybe humour wasn't intended, but i think it probably was and the writing is just poor. Still, especially if you have game pass, i would definitely recommend giving this a go. •••Edit•••: Update on 18/12/19 has fixed the bug I encountered, so the game can now be finished.

Fun interesting game, but broken

This game is full of interesting characters and a story that has a depth that keeps drawing you in. The gameplay is unique and has a lot of variety for such a simple mechanic. However it loses a star as its broken and has an unavoidable bug that stops you from continuing right as the game is reaching the end. If the game wasnt so good it would lose more

Game breaking bug

Really enjoyed this game untill I got to act 5 and halfway through a boss battle it says something like fatal error in action 1 and crashes the game. I've tried reinstalling but the problem persists. I really enjoyed the game up there and hope this gets fixed.

Why so serious??? Enjoy the experience

All the people that gave this game 1 star are probably just miserable and think their professional game reviewers. Like its meant to be a happy and chill title not a triple A shooter like calm down. For an indie game u can really see the effort that was put into it, from the music and characters to the colourful environment. Its not meant to be a game that makes you angry or be challenging its a experience and you can sit back and enjoy and I love it. People need to stop being so uptight and just have fun.

Fantastic journey

This game has to be one the best indie titles I have played this year. The game is such a joy to play. My only issue is that in the final scenes I ran into a bug that blocked progress so I'm unable to finish the game.

Everyone is soo critical these days, as if they were the prodigy of game making when all they've ever done is play. This is an indie gem, highly recommend. Don't think just play.
