I can finally play vectorman 1 & 2. They are fun shooters, go play em on here; i promise you will have fun. Also, why is sonic 3 or cd not on here?

Fun fun fun...dont believe the negative reviews

Avoided this one due to the reviews but so happy i finally grabbed it...a Fantastic selection of Megadrive games all presented brilliantly and with some actual gems within. I always found Sonic overrated so its great to have some of the gems i missed in this surprisingly large collection. Some serious longevity too due to the amount of games...youll easily find a few new faves. Good emulation options too.

5 quid can't go wrong

Already had SOR series,Golden Axe and Sonic and shocked people at time said GA was virtually same as arcade, massive difference to me! Not found anything just yet thats grabbed me but some interesting games so far, was worth price for Columns music same as game gear I remember and decent game, only played half quickly and some have shocked me in basic graphics compared to snes but equally the speed of some is ultra fast,you start the game and 5 seconds later your right in the action-50 games for a fiver a steal worth it for SOR2 alone

Great collection

For some people oxygen isn't enough however this collection is amazing and it's far better than playing on original hardware hands down. Most are happy but they need to complain........

Great game but theres no sonic 3, music glitches sometimes, the quality of the music is good, all in all a must buy and i would recommend for family game nights. Have a great day. 5/5

Nostalgia and enjoyment

As an avid master system and mega drive player in the early 90's, this collection brings back the nostalgia and memories from 30 years ago. Forget the negative reviews from those not old enough to remember the 90's, sit back and enjoy the classics, its a great little collection.

Games library is a little thin but it plays well. My only big issue with it is the audio, which more often then not will jus randomly get distorted and is awful to listen to. The only say to fix it is to reset the cart and reload save file, which works for 5 minutes then its rinse and repeat. If you want a good megadrive collection i'd recommend the megadrive ultimate collection on xbox 360 & ps3

What's so bad about it?

I don't see what everyone's complaining about or why it's only rated three stars. Sure, Road Rash isn't in here (nor is it in any SEGA revival), and the absence of one Sonic game is strange, but so what? You don't rate a Forza or a COD badly because one car isn't in it or your favourite gun is missing. I personally think it's a very good game with no faults at all. I especially love the rewinding system (LT if you hadn't figured it out yet)! Don't be fooled by the reviews saying that this game is terrible: If you see it on a decent sale (I did: £7.50 instead of £25) and you're a fan of retro classics, it's a steal. Also, to all the people saying it's pirated, look at who published it. It's literally published by SEGA Europe.

Not too bad. Dont have a problem with it. Now if we could get a Sega Cd collection, including games like 'The Terminator', 'Snatcher', US version of 'Flashback', 'Final Fight' among others, i would happily pay top dollar for that 😎👌 This collection is ok, not bad for the price. I am a retro game collector and have literally spent thousands on the original, boxed games on many different systems so for this cheap price to have a bunch of retro titles conveniantly on your series X...whats to complain about 😁👍

Retro Fun, till you Try MP, etc

50 Great Games (Sonic 3 and Knuckles Missing :-( ). Originally I great I gave this a 5 Star Review as I'd completed 3 single player games without any issues. However on a lot of games the sound is poor the emulation is poor Space harrier 2, etc laggy as hell. Then there the MP its a joke lagg city and loads of disconnected errors (all the streets of rage). D3 obviously have no quality control and made a fancy intro and a utter rubbish emulator. Buy the Sega collection on 360 instead its only £10 and that works a treat. OR play on retro pie or emulator on PC (Good Legal Collection on Steam that works great as well).

Awful sound emulation for most games its such a shame because these games had some of the best soundtracks of the 16bit era. Why is it that my illegal ROMs and PC/smartphone with programs written in the spare time of fans can emulate these games almost perfectly and yet a legal collection by SEGA cant? Id rather support the company but ith the low quality sound iwish id have stuck to my ilegal ROMs. Alien Storms music almost made me weep for how bad its emulated.

SEGA Fans Deserve Better.

Even though it does contain a wealthy selection of genuine classics, this is a very poor package. The whole thing feels very unproffesional and pales in comparison to the 'Ultimate Collection' game released on the previous generation. There are no extras such as history info, concept art, behind the scenes and bonus content. You can't even see the box art of the games! The challenges and achievements are barebones and the menu sounds are completely inauthentic. The virtual room front end should have stayed as a novelty and is pandering. The whole thing comes across as an open source fan project not made by actual fans of the console. This is just a collection of ROMs thrown together with spotty emulation.
