Needs fixing

One minute the game works and the next minute it doesn't. There's times when the car just won't start and nothing works. And now it's at the point where nothing will work and I'm not resetting the game again just to get it to work. So I've deleted it.

Full list of glitches experienced: World not loading, items falling through the map, uncle not spawning, bugged achievements, motel staff not allowing me to buy a room.

Great concept - Room for improvement

Love the idea of this game like My Summer Car, so im showing support hoping more games like this are created. Good game low price - please fix bugs b4 we get bored. Changed my rating from 4 to 1 star, they say they fixed it but it still crashes before save points. Broken game about a broken car from broken developers.

Annoying is an understatement

i brought this on release, loved the concept and enjoyed thd first 20 minutes until i lost all my progress after world disappeared. So i started again only to fall at same hurdle. Gave the game a break returned same issues. Gave it 2 years and returned its worse so no more. Sick of paying to be a game tested this dude should pay us until its fixed. Seriously avoid like you would your boss after youve been pulling a fake sicky.

Potential but still poor.

If this game wasnt £6 when i bought it i wouldve refunded GLITCHES I EXPERIENCED -items falling through the floor -being trapped at boarders/shops -car being destroyed after hitting invisible wall -world wouldnt load (road just ends) -uncle saying dialog multiple times -cant pick up more than 1 offroad tyres -car paint didnt work -replacement door upgrade didnt upgrade door -save game often wouldnt work, along with restart options -lots of missing/bugged textures (mostly on dirt roads) -car would shake going up hills -even with max upgrades car struggled up ANY incline -had an npc car drive underneath the laika and carry it away (have evidence) Still enjoyed the game but is very much unfinished, you have to persevere with jalopy to finish it. Still an enjoyable game just a shame about the bugs.

Fix. Your. Game.

Note; this game would easily be 4 stars if it worked. It doesn't even deserve 1 in it's current state. Yet more indie developers who can't be bothered to invest time into ensuring their ports work correctly. The amount of bugs in the game is overwhelming from; the car and characters falling through the map, items falling through, unable to fix/add new parts and constant crashes after your first day. It's like someone played it up to the point where you're at the first hotel and gave up. I've tried multiple saves, multiple reinstalls and still nothing. The premise of the game is fantastic and the gameplay is great while is lasts, but it doesn't make up for the fact you've released and CONTINUING to charge for a game that simply doesn't work. You should be embarrassed as developers to charge money for this.

An example of a great game that's not too great

An awesome concept, an okay storyline, a poor delivery. It has good mechanics and a good aesthetic to the game. It's not too complicated, but it has a good sense of difficulty in getting to the next town before your tank runs out, a tire bursts or the engine gives out. Glitches make me believe this game was ported over to console just a bit too early. Items fall through the road, there are cracks in the terrain where you can see under the map, and once my car was flung into the air and I was awarded the 100,000KM achievement for just sitting there and seeing the interior of the car flip all over the place. May have a tendancy to get old for some players, but I like it enough to keep coming back. Awesome game, worth the money, but if you get annoyed at game-breaking bugs then maybe turn your head.

The game is much better now but still run into glitches now and then. For example the border crossing subtitle is broken and the game will still crash

Launch: Fantastic game, so enjoyable! But... Things fall through the floor constantly, and you can't go anywhere because the game crashes so often. Worth buying, even now, but needs the fundamentals fixing ASAP. Update: Much better stability, haven't even encountered a crash. Glitch through floor also fixed. So much better to play and 10x more enjoyable after just a few days. 4 stars as it still needs a polish and a few more glitches removed. For £12 you would have to be insane not to buy this simply designed superb driving sim.

The game itself is a Jalopy

If you care about achievements then don't buy this game as the game is so buggy and janky that you need to create a new start from scratch if you get one of the many bugs, you won't even be aware that it's bugged most of the time as the game carrys on as if nothing is wrong but you won't get the achievements to pop. Some people avoid the bugs though so you could get lucky. I was one of the unlucky one's. But I did enjoy the game and got my moneys worth out of it. It's an interesting little game if you can put up with a lot of jankiness.

Good yet bad

I love this game, I really do. But it wasn't ready to be released for consoles. The wheel keeps glitching. My crates fall through the floor. It's buggy as hell. Pls update soon and fix this stuff. The game would have even more potential if these bugs were fixed

What I expected and wanted from the game.

The only bad glitch I've encountered was dropping some items through the floor. Graphics and gameplay seem to perform how the Devs intend it to be. Good game if you're patient and/or pedantic and like something as challenging as it is relaxing.

Things keep falling through the floor or getting stuck in my hands, had to restart several times when the engine fell, or a wheel. Potential, sure, but this game was not ready for a console release, even after the extra month that it was delayed for.
