We all want 60fps on our series. I became a 60fps snob too but if the game isn't fast with rapid panning camera action it isn't totally necessary. This runs fine at 30. It's 4k too with HDR and looks pretty darn good for a 20yr old title. It also plays pretty great too. 🤳

Your literally crawling around in the dark hiding from people love it

I was doubtful initially that a 2005 title would hold up and thinking that all the high reviews were just out of nostalgia but I was totally wrong. This game is superb. Other than the dated graphics (which don't look too bad in all honesty) its basically the perfect stealth game. The variety of ways you can carry out missions is so diverse and intriguing, and on top of that, the dialogue, level design and stealth mechanics are brilliant. I'm struggling to think of many other stealth games that can top this...and i really don't think I can. On sale or not you have to buy this game...seriously.

I have played many different console games over the years but I often find myself replaying the older Splintercell games like Pandorra Tomorrow and in this instance Chaos Theory which I havent played in a while. What I like is that no other game comes close to this style of gameplay. Hours of playtime can be spent on one mission, good value for money and the games do not take up much space on the console and download really fast. Its a win win. Dont be put off by how dated some of these now classics look. A must buy. Way ahead of its time as well and even to this day, no other gameplay comes close. Maybe ghost recon wildlands comes close in some instances but if you want stealth then look no further.

This is an excellent game, I'm not sure there's anything negative to write about it except the graphics are really dated now. I still recommend it however. Although, no achievements???

Plays like an absolute beauty on the Series X - near instant save/load times and the graphics are gorgeous in 4k. The game still holds up amazingly a near 20 years later. Controls are fluid so Mr Fisher plays like a charm. The only critiques I could give are that the levels are a bit linear and small in scope, but its a criticism that just attests to how fun the game is. The gameplay is so addicting, I never thought it would be this much of a joy to play Chaos Theory in 2022!

Splinter cell 1,2, 4-6 are great but this is the master piece. Excellent story & the choices to be full stealth or run & gun are epic. Still a top play to this day & Mr M.Ironside voicing Sam, bravo. 5*

Literally one of the best stealth game ever made up there with hitman blood money

When games were driven by single story arcs. Truely immersive and enjoy it now as i did back in 2005.

What a legend of a game, I'd love to see the first and pandora tomorrow now too! This game bangs out functionality and effects that some top tier games of today don't even try to.
